Build America’s AI Future

The inaugural AIX Summit East 2026 convenes leaders across academia, industry, government, and the next generation of AI innovators to shape how artificial intelligence will transform—and be transformed by—science, engineering, health, education, and finance. At a moment of profound technological and societal change, the Summit centers collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and generations, bringing together established visionaries and rising stars to move the conversation from what AI can generate to what it can build for the nation.

Co-hosted by the Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) and the AI NextGen Foundation, this one-day gathering in New York City will provide an exciting and energizing forum to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and define pathways for impact over the next five, ten, and fifty years.

Topic: A New Paradigm for Accelerating Discovery – Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming the “Fourth Paradigm” of science. From AlphaFold transforming structural biology to AI-driven discovery in new materials and climate modeling, this session explores how researchers are closing the loop between data, models, and wet-lab experiments to solve complex scientific problems.

Topic: From Precision Diagnostics to Personalized Medicine. While AI has shown promise in medical imaging and electronic health records, the gap between “algorithm” and “clinical outcome” remains significant. This session examines the roadmap for clinical integration, addressing FDA approvals, data privacy via federated learning, and the delivery of hyper-personalized treatments.

Topic: The Intelligent Engine for Navigating Risk and Opportunity. In the data-intensive finance sector, AI is expanding from high-frequency trading to risk control and compliance. This panel will discuss strategies for building robust, explainable AI in finance, managing “Black Box” risks, and the future of “AI Agents” in asset management and RegTech.

Topic: Trustworthy Bridges for Digital Infrastructure. When the generative power of AI meets the immutability of Web3, can we create more decentralized intelligent systems? Topic: Reshaping the Future of Learning. Moving beyond the debate on academic integrity, this panel explores the transformative potential of personalized AI learning experiences, and the needs for new AI-aware curriculum to address the society’s need for AI literacy and demand for an AI native workforce. Discussion will focus on cultivating critical thinking, the changing role of educators, and integrating AI into the mission of knowledge across the disciplines.

The AIX Summit Student Poster Session showcases innovative work by high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from across disciplines.

Open to all Summit participants and displayed throughout the day, the session provides a vibrant forum for emerging researchers to share ideas, engage with leaders from academia, industry, and government, and build meaningful connections.

Student poster presenters will receive discounted registration and exclusive access to a by-invitation-only mentoring session with professionals from the private sector and academia.
